More people should use emit force in pvp

It's really an excellent spell to finish people off with because of its huge hitbox and splash damage. I don't understand why people using miracle builds insist on using lightning spear instead.

Every time I see someone using emit force (which isn't often) it looks like it takes forever to cast, I don't have much experience with it so idk; I just roll through most spells and projectiles anyway.

It is though, every time you hit if finishes the match. Just because the hp bar was full when they died doesn't mean it wasn't a finisher, eh :)

I've only been hit once by emit force, and that was the very first time it was used against me in pvp. I don't know.. maybe it isn't so insanely easy to see it coming if someone has 300+ casting speed.

If someone has that much castng speed just walk up to them and hit them at the end of their panic enduced roll frenzy. Or roll backstab their Soul Greatsword.

You try to time it so that it hits as people are coming out of their dodge roll. The good thing about the spell is that you don't have to worry about your character not tracking correctly with it because it hits in a good 30 degree arc in front of you. While spear will just randomly miss to people's left and right.

Agreed. It's so slow, that it pretty much never hits. Not only that, but it opens such a massive window that I've killed pretty much every other player when they go to cast this. I can usually fire off two Crystal Soul Spears in the time it takes them to fire off a single Sunlight Spear.

Hardly, massive aoe splash, massive damage output to the point of almost one shotting most people. combine that with the binoc you can pretty much snipe with it which I have been doing in iron keep all week.

Sunlight spears can usually always be avoided by simply walking to either side as the animation starts, then halfway through the animation you go the oposit way.. that way the miracle usually misses by some 5 meters or more.
