Good farming for lifegems

Anyone know of a good farming location for lifegems?

I would personally recommend you just buy life gems instead of farming them. they're fairly cheap at 300 souls each. though if you really desperately want to farm them, then you can just assist other people by dropping a soapstone. enemies you kill while summoned have a good chance of dropping lifegems :)

I always drop signs, I love to play with other people, alas I get summoned so rarely...

you can farm old radiant lifegems in the shrine of amana, The enemies drop various other loot such as : smooth and silky stones, twinkling titanite, archedrake armor, archedrake mace, bleeding serum.
