You might be too low leveled/high leveled for the area, or co-op is just going slow.

i haven't even seen summon sign when i've been like lvl 40

If you are having problems with player summons, half way to the demon of song, in one of the buildings before you get to the passageway with the acid bugs, there is an npc summon, Felicia the Brave, a melee npc.

It's probably a good idea to clear the area up to the boss fog door to ensure she has full health when fighting the boss.

True she is good a tanking but she goes down before the boss, thx for the tip

The zone was a lot harder than the boss for me.

You can also easilly cheese the boss: 1) Stand in front of the Demon when it's in the shell 2) Wait for it to pop out and do slash attacks in front of itself, step back 3) Step in and swing two or three times until it goes back in 4) Repeat

I actually found that when I melee'd along-side her, she went down like a paper bag, swiftly followed by myself. After several rage-fail attempts, I backed off and just used a bow and she tanked like a good 'un, rolling at every swipe and finished the fight with full health.

Still no idea why she would act like that.

she not hard i just prefer to coop stuff. also the NPC summon is better for the zone than for the boss, imo

I did this boss without taking any damage.

1) Rush up to it as close as you can and attack untill the shroud goes down.
2) Stay up close until it opens, then roll back JUST far enough away so it does it's double swipe attack. DON'T ROLL TOO FAR or the lunge/smash will 1 shot you.
3) Rinse and repeat.
