w8 w8 w8....let me get this straight...you like the ancient dragon?
the ancient dragon is a freakin joke...he is hard indeed, but because of the cheapest of all design indeas....ridicolous amount of hp and onehit attacks. he is ridicolously slow and his entire fight is just boring is ♥♥♥♥, because he has like 4 attacks-.-
i atcually liked the guardian dragon somehow.
from your comment i read that you used magic....try those bosses with pure meele....you can't kill them within 10 sec then, because magic is pretty broken and cheap in pve.
i totally agree with the others, though i would count looking glass knight and velstadt as decent bosses aswell.
EDIT: darklurker is a decent boss aswell...forgot about him :D
There are quite a few bosses easier with melee (especially parrying) than magic.
The run i've found the easiest sio far has been the pure STR melee based. There's quite a few boses where magic attacks like soul arrows do basically no damage, but you can rush them and slash them apart with a UGS, tanking hits using the extra health and stuff gained from not spending points in lots of extra catagories. :D
atleast, you can't 2 hit bosses with pure meele. you can actually kill the darklurker within less than 10 sec using pyromancy....
and that tanky thing works in ng...but in ng+ you'll get yourself killed when you try to tank away those bosses, while the easy-peasy "shoot nashandra with lightning-spears tactic" kills her without you even getting in danger and within seconds....i mean i got 30 faith right now...and i can 8-hit her using great lightning spear in ng+2???
However, there were some interesting and fun ones. Like The Rotten, Mytha in the room full of poison, The Sinner... The Pursuer was legitimately fun, but that glowing stab could have used a little more range and speed.
I think my two favorites were the Looking Glass Knight and the Darklurker though. Each of those fights was rather intense and had their own "oh god, what's he doing now?" moments.
You can't 2 hit bosses with magic either, unless you're seriously overlevelled. If you were overlevelled in melee you can 2hit bosses too. :p). For every Demon of Song, there's a Smelter Demon.
It's not so much tanking, but if you have spent a bunch of points of Faith and Int and Att, you're liely going to have much less vitality and other healthy things (like for example instead of spending 50 points in Str, you have to spend 60 in Int and 40 in ATT, so thats an extra 50 points floating aorund that can be piled into health). Meaning that your mistakes will be less of a punishment, and youll have more of everything.
Playing as Str is much much easier. Especially in PvP. You cause over 1500 hp per shot with 30 faith on a 42 faith spell? :p
i played a pure meele str build, who used ultra-greatswords and greatshields, a dex-dualwield and a int-faith hybrid....and the int-faith hybrid was by far the easiest run. killing bosses within 10 sec without even getting in their hitrange. for example darklurker...for meele builds one of the hardest bosses...for caster...well go to him...use chaosstorm 2 times and he's at 10% hp or, if you'r lucky, he's dead....
Don't even get me started on how I ended up there and got summoned as a gray spirit to get assraped by some scumbags.
You don't think the boss of a covenant intended for magic/hex users (theres no real point joining as a melee) isn't going to be easier, when likely intended to be fought with magic? :p
After that it's the Prowling Magus/Congregation and Covetous Demon because they are mind-numbingly dull.
there is a point...i like fighting the darklurker with a meele char. it's fun to fight him aslong as you don't use cheap tactics. and fun is in my eyes the most important point of a game...when it's fun i do it (this counts atleast for pve). but killing every boss without any chance of dying (casters) is no fun at all and easy
Without summons, which boss gives you no chance to be killed as a caster? Loads of bosses can't hit you if you know how to parry and have a 100% physical resist sheild. :D
