Parry Dagger + ???

So I would really like to get good in parrying so I was thinking about maybe doing a build with a parry dagger and another weapon in my main hand. I prefer weapons that look realistic. Is there a good normal looking weapon that's viable in pvp I could use and in what kind of build?? I'm not totally fixed on the parry dagger so if you have any other sugestions I'd love to hear them.

Longsword is perfectly viable, as well as just about any straight sword, really. They also work rather well with two weapon fighting, although their counter damage is usually sub-par. I'd go for a longsword mainhand, with a dagger for ripostes after you parry someone with the parrying dagger.

I've been running around with a normale dagger and a parrying dagger to get ripostes and backstabs since most of the time I get summoned by Havel guys and everything but those GIANT swords and clubs don't seem to do damage against them so why bother doing normal attacks. Could a normal longsword hit them hard enough??

I don't know enough to advise you on a parry build except for this: don't run around with the dagger on your off hand all the time, it's too obvious and any experienced PvPer will notice it and switch to a bait strategy or two-hand a great weapon.
