What was the hardest Boss for you in dark souls 2?

At first it was the ruin sentinels for me. Starting with DS2 they were a nightmare for me. Now I can laugh them in the face :D But no matter how often I kill him, they Darklurker will always be a pain the bottom for me. Dark Lurker was a real ♥♥♥♥♥ as a melee, non-cheese build. It's absurdly easy with a faith build though. I can shoot it down before it manages to split, even on NG+2.

My hardest boss by far was gravity, where in DS 1 I could easily drop down a ledge it insta killed me in DS2

The Lost Sinner. I didn't know about the option to light up the area you fight her in so I kept losing my lock on her plus she is faster in the dark.

I think those are supposed to be tatters of some sort attached to the mask, not a beard, since every single reference with a pronoun uses the female pronoun.

The hardest boss i seemed to have faced, was the old iron king. I use melee, but the NG+ fight against him was rather difficult for me. Another was meleeing the ruin sentinels, absolute hell.

I dunno about the tatters.. They aren't part of the wearable mask. I've only noticed the one reference in the boss soul description, so I might be wrong. Translation errors are pretty common though. As i understand it, japanese pronouns for gender are often more ambiguous than english.

First walkthough, "everything is new"-style without help:
1.) Pursuer
Thank you, ADP - here I came to the realisation that this is not DS1, controls-wise.
2.) Ruin Sentinels
Low-level Char without 100%-shield? Fuhgeddaboutid!
3.) The Rotten
Sadly, yes, YES. Idiot killed by flaming pools, that's me.

Honorable mention: The room in Drangleic Castle with two archers, one mastodon and the big shield guys. That was not my day. At all.
Honorable mention II: Shrine of Amana. I simply refuse to do this area without a bow. It's tedious.

God It took me probably a whole day to beat this boss by myself. I know i could have summoned people to help, but i wanted to solo all the bosses for that rewarding experience. I probably should have just summoned someone. The guys aren't so bad when it is 1v1. Their attacks are pretty avoidable, but when it gets 2v1 then its a lot harder, at least it was for me.

Eventually i was able to kill them somehow. I would have to say this boss. Smelter Demon was a close second till i found out his weakness. Then he was a complete wimp. Hugs Wyrm Shield.

When the sentinel fights turns to 2v1,just be patient and wait behind your 100% physical block shield and wait for both of them to be open,or for one of them to toss their shield away.Just wait and look for opening and then take a swing then block.Rinse and repeat until boss defeated.
