Did I just softlock my game?

I wasted the Branch of Yore I got after defeating the Lost Sinner in Straid. I cannot unpetrify the NPC holding the lever to continue to the forest. How am I supposed to continue the game now? I've already gone to Heide's Tower of Flame, No Man's Wharf and The Forest of Fallen Giants. Thanks in advance.

You can either: fall down into the majula pit OR go to huntsman copse: from majula, head to heides tower of flame, but when you reach the circular room with a stone thing in the middle, go to the left side. If the left side is locked, interact with the stone or talk to the miracle NPC in heide until it moves to this room, so it can open the path for you.

Dude, you're breathtaking. I didn't remember the miracle girl opening that path. I had tried to jump into the pit but I don't have enough vigor to survive the fall. Thank you so much!

in the poison fog area, in the first section where you see the clouds first heading into the tunnel right across from the path, theres a branch of yore on a corpse

To survive the fall, you can buy the cat ring from the cat npc or just stack health rings (one is in forest of the fallen giants and another can be obtained after joining the crestfallen npc covenant)

There is a branch of yore down that path, almost at the end and there's also one after huntsman copse, in harvest valley

Yes! I bought the ring but still I didn't survive because I didn't have enough HP. I have prioritized leveling up adaptability hahaha
