Best dark defense armor set (Not havel)?

So I'm trying to think of a melee build made purely to kill hexers. So far the items I plan on using are the Dark Transgressor's Leather Shield, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ultra Greatsword, Curved Dragon Greatsword and the Dark Quartz Ring +3, but what armor has the highest dark resistance?

black witch set with warlock mask, saints trousers, dispelling ring, dark ring +3 and 2 dragon tooth. oh and 30/30 int fth with gmb and hexers with do 0 damage to you.

Or you could just infuse the trangressors shield with dark and be done with it

Dark Armor is usable and looks good (not so good like in the first ds).

Overkill much? Also don't forget high int/fth.

Farming for the Warlock Mask is gonna be a pain, but alright.

If you want some physical defense and poise and don't mind the weight, Velsdalt's Set is pretty good. But then again, Twinkling.

Yeaaah twinkling is a bit of a hell to farm. You can get infinite via the Giant Lord Trick, but it gets tedious at Bonfire+5 and above

True. Luckily the giant lord ain't that hard.

just turn on a show and autopilot it for 45 minutes. giant lord only takes me about 5 minutes a run.

Play the dlc. So much Twinkling Titanite. If you dont own it : Well have fun with the Giant Lord.

Already spent most of the twinkling on the Defender Armor set because it looks dope. Oops.

the helm also increase vit and end by 1, not too shabby
