That's the point. They took everything people love to joke about ganks and PvP and turned it into a Boss fight. Try it at a higher level with a capable team of 2 other players, that's how it's supposed to be tackled.

Try fighting them in that narrow tunnel under archer's position. Parrying is advised

Bring 2 summons, go for backstabs and parries using environment to your advantage, also guard break should stagger them to get a few hits in.

Bring a player and if you get hurt jump down from a ledge, they can't jump after you so it gives you time to Estus.

Its possible to do alone because Ive done it alone myself but its really annoying because they dont stagger. I Recommed using a spear with a greatshield so you can poke them and block their attacks.

i did it alone, dual spotted whips, sanctum soldier gauntlets and rat ring. go for the archer first. kee diving down to the water below beacuse havel and lucatiel follow you. then run back up and you can poison the archer. after he dies the battle is a lot easier

It's possible, best strat I've seen so far comes from Lobos who used a an ultra greatsword and R2d causing them to fly up. Then he ran back and forth.

u can do it alone, but u better know how to parry/riposte/backstab FLAWLESSLY.

especially when NG+ and above

Any spear is good since they all got a good buff in the new patch.
