How can I talk to Vendrick ?

I have the crown from DLC, but Vendrick still walking around as a corpse.
I tried wear that crown from DLC, wisper ring, king's ring, full king's set, still cant talk to him.
Vendrick's gear on the ground seem glowing now(pixy dust), but when I interact it says "Alas, nothing happened"

So, how do you really talk to Vendrick?

You have to pick the Ashen Mist Hearth from the Dragon.It Alows you to travel to memories,the giant ones,so you can pick the giant souls and the giant's kinship,but you can also travel to the memory of Vendrik and he has a very good dialogue from a lore perspective.

You need to kill him in hollow then enter his armor with the help of the ash mist heart

Actually not,you don't need to kill him,i could talk with him when he was hollow.Just need the Ashen mist hearth

No problem,also you don't need the DLC,is a in-game content that they add.
At least is what i heard...
