Suddenly can't use items?

All of a sudden I cant use anything from my inventory (anywhere)
All the items (like consumables, souls, white/red sign etc.) have the the "use" option in gray, can only select disacrd, leave. Teh hell is this??

I got this problem too...i tried using one of the items i had in my selected gear, and then the problem resolved itself.

I threw myself from the majula pit and now everything is fine again lol!
Very strange though

Remove the agape ring if your wearing it.
