multiple seem to stack, though its vaguely possible that it joust goes off of the highest
Yes but patches make strategy guides obsolete :P
It's the only semi "official" number ever given for it, and they've never been mentioned in a patch, so it doesn't seem likely they've been changed a whole lot. :D
Oh i know. As someone that plays Monster Hunter i know +1% to a item drop would be amazing on some items :P
Not if it's an increase based on the actual rate (e.g drop rate of 1% -> 1.01%).
I believe it works that way (or something like that) since other discovery have way more rate increase.
Edit : yeah, for example, the gold serpent ring +2 gives a 100% increase
I farmed the first part of Iron Keep dry with CGSR+1, Jesterhat, Tatters, and used rusted coins periodically.
I made a new char and did the same thing, but with NO item find gear or coins.
The difference was 8 drops.
But unlike darksouls 1 you dont have 410 item find, instead theres a number between 1 to 9 i beleve.
wearing armor and headger item find = 2 (the prisoner tatters armor and helm for example)
wearing ring +2 = 3
and the rusted coin = 3
+ base item find of 1 by default.
So basicly you have 9 item find max, theres no way to get 10,
sometimes iv had 3 items drop at same time from 1 enemy, so i guess its not a flat % to get one item, but instead increases chance of every item a enemy can drop.
I don't think this is true. A gurantee drop is a 100, and I know the Old Knights have 20 chance drop for Cracked Blue Eye Orb. The Drakekeepers have a 15 chance of dropping a Dragon Charm and 2 for the rest.
I don't know why this stat is so obscure, why the hell did From changed this?
And the coin only adds +1% of chance/luck.
