Invader Killed McDuff Called "KILLING THE BLACKSMITH"
Bagel Porn AKa http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198150827099/ invaded and killed my blacksmith. Then I back stabbed him and I died instantly.

FROM can you please revive him? I'm so sick of these people. Hacking is awful.

these threads are pointless. He's a guy from the UK family sharing so his main won't get banned and putting Korea to throw you off

No threads like these will hopefully gets FROMs attention and make them actually do something like reinstate VAC....

I hide in plain sight ^^ and I always keep my feather up and if I wanna leave I just use that. So it hasn't been a problem so far :)

returning to a bonfire doesnt remove invaders. You have to enter a boss room, Alt+F4, quit the game, or die.
True, but when I feather I teleport away from the location, I do not feather to swap items, spells or eq if I feather in lost bastile it is to leave ^^

Interesting. You're friends with a dude who is friends with that guy, and has been posting the same thing. What are the odds of that?

Yes but if they arent coming for you, but instead your NPCs returning to a bonfire is useless.

You got lucky then. Any area with a NPC you need to be careful now. Especially since they can invade you in majula now.....

Im getting to this point too. While i havent come across any "dangerous" hackers, i think im gunna stop playing for now....which is sad because im half way through the new dlc and am enjoying it....

It's pretty easy to avoid him, just don't loiter in areas with NPCs. There's no griefing potential if you're in the DLC areas, et cetera.

If FROM lets people keep doing this then I'm just gonna start making game save backups and playing offline. My opinion has always been don't force PvP on people. That only causes resentment among the people that don't care for it. And this person does nothing to help the cause of people who legitimately like PvPing.

Not true. When there are hackers that can destroy gear (removing it from your inventory entirely), can lower youre stats, can brick your game, etc., there really isnt anywhere safe.

Wait wait wait, is this for real? I'd ask for source but... darn.

One reason i love this series IS because of the intergrated pvp. Where the state of the game is now, pvp is the worse aspect due to the fear of having your game ruined.

Nope! I caught him red handed. FROM can ban me from the forums or slap my wrist but I'm not removing it.
msoven 30 AGO 2014 a las 3:28 p. m.
I've seen like fifty threads about killing blacksmiths but I haven't seen anyone demonstrate that their stats were hacked without actually picking up a hacked item. If you alt-f4 as soon as you see a hacker try to join, he can't do anything.

In any case, it's a question of how he wants to spend his time. He seems singularly obsessed with blacksmiths, presumably because it's an easy target. It's just this one guy doing it, if you avoid him you're golden.
