Majestic Greatsword Damage

From the moment I discovered it, Majestic Greatsword became my #2 best GS, #1 being Black Knight GS. It has long range, decent damage and cool moveset when weilded with left hand. However, the lefthand move set does drain a bit too much of stamina so I tried to used it like all the other greatswords, putting it on my right hand slot. After using it this way for a while I discovered that I was doing much less dmg when I using R1, weilding it with my right hand, compared to when I weild it on left and use L1 (the horizontal swipe move).

Here is the test I did.
Majestic Greatsword +3 lightning infused.
Used against hollow royal soldiers next to cardinal bonfire
horizontal swipe using right hand: 352
horizontal swipe using left hand: 483

I guess the difference is not only in the moveset, but also on dmg you do depending on which hand you weild this weapon with D: oh well, gotta get used to using it on the left side I guess.

Its (let's face it) Artorias's sword :3 he was left handed, read the item desc as well or just look at that thing haha. Just From Software keeping the story going in a way I suppose.

so is it better infused ? (I have 60 in almost every stat except FAI and INT where I have 70 points invested in both)

I have nearly all my equipment infused with lightning because I am a sparkly knight. :3 But yeah infused is usually better and in this case it definitely is if you have those stats.

Yup, as Ultra of Lion Heart said, its better off infused if you have high stats in int and fai. Would have been even better if they allowed us to use a sunlight blade on it D:
