Emerald Herald: "My name is Shanalotte. The dragon gave me this name for I was born with none. I was born of dragons, contrived by men."

"Shanalotte" (aka Emerald Herald) is anagram for "Seath Talon". Coincidence or not?

Ah yeah sorry forgot that with the quest who was the npc again that betrayed you in dark souls 1 or was that back in demon souls? and as it seems its meaningless you guys really dont get it. Dont believe everything even if it seems to be true at first sight. Dont believe anyone as they will only use you.

and he even says it "COULD it be a dragon egg". he never said it is one.

there your "BIG" hint is gone...
dude, what? are you serious? the hint is exactly the fact that he says that it "COULD" be a dragon egg,how the hell he would be a 100% sure? also do you remenber the fact that in Dark Souls there are distant relatives and descedents of the Everlasting Dragons? how do you think the descendents exist? cmon dude now you are making fun of me, why the hell would magerold lie about the egg? we GIVE the egg to him, he says it could be one AFTER he gets it, there is no one manipulating you there, again all hints towards it being a Dragon Egg, i know very well to not trust every npc, but this one has no reason to lie lol.

Gaping Dragon is one of those distant relatives. At Gaping you can se a channeler supporting him. channelers are the servants of Seath so he maybe could have made the Gaping Dragon while doing his research.
I dont really plan on making fun of you sorry if it looks like it.

See I dont trust Magerold
because he is tresure hunter.
because he only lets you join the covenant after giving him the egg which indicates that he is just using you to get the egg.
As i suppose "Dragon" Eggs are valuable and he wants to sell it for a high price somewhere.
even if its not a dragon egg he could still say it is one as noone ever saw a dragon egg.

the problem is, did all the Everlasting look the same? >.< is Sinh a Everlasting Dragon? Kalameet is a Ancient and seems to be one of the Everlasting, but we cant be sure >.<
Stone Dragon was Everlasting. But very dissimilar from Kalameet. So I'd say no. In fact, the only dragons that look similar are the ones flying around the Aerie.. And these are sometimes referred to as drakes.
if we just had any confimation that all Everlasting dragons did not look the same...

How do you know noone ever saw such egg?

We have, compare the Everlasting Dragon at the bottom of ashen lake with Kalameet.

I just like to pretend that there is no relation between Dark Souls 1 and 2 lore.

but even the stone dragon in ash lake is a direct descendent, there is no real Everlasting Dragon alive so far...

You can pretend, but you'd be wrong... Case in point: fragments of the Lordvessel in the basement of majula.

Drgaons are rare themself at that time. And except for Aldia, Vendrick, E.H. and us and maybe some servants most people didnt even see drakes. As you need the Kings ring to get to Aldias keep and i dont think everyone except you has such a ring.

I've read one theory that the lordvessel was destroyed to create the kings ring. It makes sense, They're both used to open huge ass locked doors. Look at the kings ring. That little curvy line looks similar to the door behind the lordvessel in ds1.

well thats interesting, but how can NPCs go beyond the gates? they just jump over it? also why the hell we need to go through the Shrine of Winter? i mean its not like those rocks in the way are that big lol, i mean there must be something else blocking the way right lol?

Then whats the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point of that huge gate that can only be opened by the kings ring if you can just hop over it?
