Is there an easy way to kill Maldron the Assassin?

When he goes down the stairs, fall on the cogs and transform him into a procupine head with a bow, works totally!

If you can hurt him enough to make him run away, I cannot recommend using a seed of a tree of giants highly enough. How to hurt him that much? I dunno, got any chaos storms lying around or anything? Or you could summon someone to distract him.

Parry and "Git Gud" or use a Club, 2handed strong attack. The strong attack will pancake him, making him unable to move. Repeat for great results.

He's a ♥♥♥♥♥ when he runs downstairs to the cursed area, try to get rid of the Nadalia thing ASAP so the curse will disappear and the other enemies can be killed again.
If he's still down there somewhere, try hopping on the gears in the middle and snipe him with the bow from there. He won't heal until half his health, so before he does, go down and finish him (easier if you already lured and killed the other enemies).

Use a seed of giants. If you can't hurt him enough for him to run away, then lure him out of his initial hiding spot, and then run across the chain. He should then just run down the tower anyway

You can also try to launch him off the tower with an ultragreatsword. If he flees, let him. Then calmly drop on the second cog and rain poison arrows on him. And watch him die, slowly, and helpless.

I did it in stages. First, take out the Ashen Idol. Retreat.
Take out the enemies. Take him out. His tracking is avoidable, as long as you do not dodge too soon.
