Crown of the Old Iron King Curse

I've come to a spiral staircase that inflicts curse. How do I stop the curse from occuring?

There's an ashen idol at the bottom which causes the darkness and cursing.

There's one of the piles of stuff you stick the smelter rods into that causes it near the bottom of the pit, you'll just have to run down and get rid of it.

Later on you can also find a mask that pretty much functions as a gas mask against curses. It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard to find without a guide though.

It's very hard to find, by the way. Just spam A on any elevator connected to a wall ;)

Hollow Mask, gives 1000 curse resist

seriously OP, easy fix for those curse hackers in pvp too
