How do you fight Sir Alonne?

I can't find him in the DLC?

Find the Smelter Throne bonfire from the Foyer by going up the elevators, by the bonfire will be an ornate set of armour, and a large katana on the floor. With the Ashen Mist Heart, and the Crown, you can enter the armour as a memory and fight through another area of the Old Iron Keep, eventually leading to Sir Alonne.

I know it's something about a memory and that you need ashen mist heart. I'm not sure where this place is, as I haven't gotten that far.

You also can fight him once you got the Crown of the old Iron King! Otherwise you won't be able to enter the memory.

Btw, it kinda saddens me that Sir Alonne can only be fought somewhat later in the game. His Armor is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome in stats and looks. Would be nice to get that early on.

Soooo even though I have the Crown of the Sunken King and the Ashen Mist Heart, I still can't fight him until I have the Crown of the Old Iron King too? Argh

exactly. what does it even matter if you have the sunke king crown anyway? it's completly unrelated to Sir alonne, it a crown from a king from another kingdom
