Nowhere to go

I have killed every possible boss within reach, as well 4 of the main bosses (Sinner, Rotten, Giant Spider, and Iron king). I also lit the primal bonfires after each boss. Whenever I told to the emerald Herald or the Cat in Majula they will tell me to go to the castle and meet the king, but I have no idea on how to do that.


And yes, I picked up the spider soul.

Go to the intersection before Shaded Woods, but this time take the route with all the goblins in it.

Continue along that and you'll be at the castle.

Shaded Woods, Ruined Fork Road bonfire, take the left exit and go to the shrine of winter.

I have, it says I need to produce the symbol of the king.

You need to equip the King's Ring to open that door.
You can put your other ring right back on when it opens.

Go to the shaded woods and take the path you haven't!

It's on the corpse after the boss area in the Undead Crypt.
You'll see a Giant king walking in circles, he isn't hostile unless you attack him.

If the last boss you beat was the Duke's Dear Freja, you should be going down the pit in Majula to the Grave of Saints.
Talk to the laddersmith and buy the ladders that go down.
