Dragonslayer Bow vs. Alonne Greatbow

depends on your build. dragonslayer greatbow is better for characters with a lot of STR because it has better scaling, whereas Alonne Greatbow doesn't have as much scaling but has more base damage, good for builds that have lower str/dex

Alonne Greatbow. faster to fire/start up another shot. dragonslayer has a longer shooting animation. But dragonslayer does have the higher damage.

Alonne. It consumes less stamina, and got higher rate of fire. And it's weight are lower. But, Dargonslayer bow got more DMG if you're got a build with a lot of STR.

DB also requires more stamina to fire, so if damage is not what you are looking for then the alonne greatbow is the best choice, because both have the same knockback when the arrows hit.

Dragonslayer Bow it is then. Using my 'Powerstance ALL The Things!' build ATM (99 STR 45 DEX)

Pretty much sums it up. I would add that the excess weight from the dragonslayer doesn't neccesarily make up for the for a small increase in total AR. Up to you really.
