Bellfry honour O-o

Sooo... I just invaded a guy in bellfry sol , and instantly recognized the host. We ve been kickikng each other butts for a while now, a lot of fun fights. When i see that a bellbro invaded. I though he will interfere. But no. He bowed to both of us , and we continued with the duel. Then the SECOND bellbro spawns. And again. He doesnt interfere with the duel. O-o Am i missing something ? dafaq ?

Those were one of a kind, for the most part whenever I'm at the Belfry's I just have two guys spawn and instantly try Bellbrazzers both me and the host.

But to be fair I'm pretty sure in the end you can only choose either 'Honor' or being a Bellkeeper, you can't have both.

I don't like honorable bellkeepers because i'm there for the challegenge of facing 1x2 combat. a bellsilly that invade me and does nothing while the other is fighting me is just wasting space of a real bellkeeper. i mean, if you want 1x1 combat, why not just use/summon red or dragon signs? i don't see the point of acting honorable as a bellkeeper. it sounds stupid.

Depends really.
If its a meta build then i join in to gank.
If my partner is the meta build then i let the host take care of him/her

If its obviously just someone coming through or a "uniqee/interesting/different" build, i leave them alone as i'd like to fight them 1on1 as well.

Usually, i do gank but in an "irritable" way.
I dont go after the host like i'm hungry for the kill or a cheap win.
I'd do stuff like cast lingering flame in random areas and then watch them fight.
Or i spam poison knives / corrosive urns / acid surge etc
Or i cast warmth and lingering flame to either watch them in dismay as my partner heals up or see them go up in flames
Fish for backstabs with an unupgraded broken thief sword or anything that wont do such significant damage

I personally wait until the host defeats the other Bellbro, before fighting them (and still just about always winning) myself. I guess I am one of those "honorable" Bellbros you are referring to, when I put on the Bellbro crest. Otherwise, I'm usually (also an "honorable") Blue Sentinel playing. I suppose everyone has their styles.

Won't lie though, it's fun when I Bellbro and get jumped by both the host and a red/blue/shade, and still win.

You're not alone; and when the host wants a legit 2v1, he usually getsures at me to "come on" and then to my grey partner as well (assuming I am actually a bellbro; I prefer to red invade in the belltower) ..*ahem* at which point we will then rape the host.

same happend to me i was in the tower a gray invaded i'm fightin him another gray invades and he just spams the *pump up* gesture and wait till the other gray dies so he can follow

when bellkeeprs like you invade me, i get quite annoyed. i usually avoid the one that i was fighting for a few seconds and cast a CSS, forbidden sun or anything of the sort to the lazy bellkeeper to see if he/she wakes up. wth. with bellkeeper acting all honorable now, i'll just invade and hope that host have phantoms.

i mean, prevailing in difficult and unfair battles (or at least trying)... that's what i'm looking for and bellkeepers offered the chance to do that (kinda of... i still think most of them are just there for the chunks and are not really PvP players).

defeating players in 1x1 honorable combat can be fun sometimes, but isn't better when you, against all odds, manages to defeat alone multiple players at once? so please bellkeeprs! stop acting honorable and gank people!

Well, gotta hand it to you. I hate being ganked, and I don't know alot of people who would ever enjoy unfair situations. if that's your thing tho; just put a red sign down at the keep; guaranteed 3v1's non stop. lol
