Best medium armor set

I am running a dex build and what is the best medium armor for this because i am running curved dragon greatsword and it's kinda heavy and i have 35 vit. I am looking for armor set that uses normal titanite

Alva Set, sold by Maughlin after you spent 15k souls on his stuff.

If Alva armour is to heavy then try the Black Leather armour. I reckon it gives a heaps of defense for its weight.

I've found that the Wanderer set outclasses Black Leather whilst being astoundingly light. But I'd go with Alva as a medium armor, and Black Leather if you want something truly light.

Alva set should be best weight/def based. You could also use elite knight set. It has a little better defence, but also more weight. Its also more stylish that the alva set ^^.

If you can use any medium armor from the game then yiou have the Drakeblood set at 29,6 with 593 physical defense fully upgrade (the same defense at the Faraam set at 30).

You got the Throne Watcher set at 27,5 weight, and 512 physical defense, King's set 27,1 and 485 phys.def, Elite Knight set does 475 physical defesne, at 26,8, and of course the Alva set with 419 phys.def. at 20,6. Also the Llewellyn set is really good 13 weight with 344 phys.def. But doesn't have a head piece, so a good helmet can increase defense a lot. It's also the set with highest defense per weigh unit.

I haven't done this for poison, bleed, curse or petryfing. But this would probably be enough information to find a good set.

If you want elemental defesen the Black Withc set, Hexer set, Chaos set and Black set seem to be really good choices, and mix and combine to get the best out of it. But not many of them have good physical defesen. In that why the Throne Watcher set is good with good physical defense and good magic defense.

Go for max of what you can afford of weight to feel comfortable. In medium armor for me it's alonne knight/captain. It's one of the heaviest medium armors.

Alonne Knigth/Captain is not medium armor. medium armor is from 15 and to 29,9. Heavy armor is from 30 to 50. At least by the Wikia defenition.

The Alonne Captains is at number 10 of the Heaviest armor set. Right after the Drakekeeper set, with 37,2 weight. If you are going to Heavy you could go the Velstad's set or the Steel set which both have more armor per weight unit. The Velstadt set also has more physical defense then Alonne Captain, while weighin just 34,9 versus 37,2.
