I'd say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ultra Greatsword for flexibility for UGS.
Crypt greatsword has good damage for hex builds
And CDG for curved greatswords
For a Hex build:
- Ultra Greatsword = Dark Crypt Blacksword
- Greatsword = Fire Black Knight Greatsword (Faith increases fire damage)
- Straightsword = Red Rust Sword - Lightning Heide Knight Sword
- Thrusting Sword = Fire Chaos Rapier
- Axe - Lightning Dragonslayer's Axe - Fire Black Knight Greataxe
- Halberd - Fire Black Knight Halberd - Dark Roaring Halberd
- Spear = Dark Silverblack Spear - Lightning Heide Spear
- Lance = Lightning Heide Greatlance
- Hammer = Sacred Chime
- Scythe = Dark Scythe of Want - Dark Silverblack Sickle (for speed)
- Bow = Lightning Bow of Want
- Chime = Dark Chime of Want (for hexes)
I hope this helped - These are the best weapons (depending on your preferred style of play), for a Strength / Faith build, including the infusions. However, if your strength attribute is much higher than your faith, it is better to avoid infusions until your faith is a similar level to your strength so that you gain a considerable increase in damage.
- Greatsword = Yorgh's Spear
- Straightsword = Yorgh's Spear
- Thrusting Sword = Yorgh's Spear
- Axe - Yorgh's Spear
- Halberd - Yorgh's Spear
- Spear = Yorgh's Spear
- Lance = Yorgh's Spear
- Hammer = Yorgh's Spear
- Scythe = Yorgh's Spear
- Bow = Yorgh's Spear
- Chime = Yorgh's Spear
The best weapons for every catagory.

Of course these doesn't take infusion and DPS into consideration.
Now I have a slightly off topic question. I'm going into ng++ would flynns ring with 60 equip load be more beneficial or a lot more vitality/ equip load and replacing Flynn with third Dragon? (While keeping in mind that with the extra equip load I will be getting heavier armor abd a great shield, also regardless of the ring I will try to apply resonant weapon and the miracle that adds damage and defence as often as I can, and the weapons will not be infused).
Additionally which of these options should I choose for ng++ for dps and survivability- red iron twinblade + greatshield, power stance rulers sword (or any variation including black Dragon Greatsword) or shield and one of those swords or pursuers Greatsword? Please give a reason.
This is the most helpful board I've encountered :)
Then ruler's sword + shield, I would avoid powerstancing 2 ruler's swords, it's a lot of stamina went to waste if you miss... I'm in NG++ too and 1 of those swords is more than enough damage wise, lol. Then if you buff, even better.
