She's too adorable to ever find out about my offshore accounts
Nah I'll go on a date with Iris while we do my taxes, you can go away.

Do you not know what MSCHF is?

Oh yeah it's gonna steal your information just like all the other tax return apps everyone uses.
Just because something has an anime girl skin doesn't mean it'll steal your monkey images dumbass.

While you should absolutely be VERY carful with your information, this game does have a fairly large name behind it. It's a project/product by MSCHF.

If you're not aware, MSCHF or Mischief is a "hype" brand that makes strange and gimmick products that are usually dropped as limited time releases. They aren't some no name brand. Now, I'm not saying that your information is safe with them. I am saying however that they aren't some rando making a Steam game.

Yeah, a company that’s well known for dropping fly-by-night meme games and calls itself “mischief” doesn’t sound like the kind of company I want to give my SSN to.

Even if it’s not a scam, I don’t trust them to keep the information secure— Sony can’t even keep usernames secret, and they’re probably bigger than some company based in Sunset Park.

I agree. I wouldn't give them my SSN either. I don't even like giving my SSN to the real person that I see to do my taxes.

although I am sckeptical of this game, you honestly have no proof of what you claim, how about wait for people to go over the files, and see what it does.
So serious over a meme game that is yet to be released.

Don't tell Iris this but you guys do know that you can probably slap some random numbers in it, right? :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Iris is a cute girl though

Not to say your instincts aren't valid (please don't discard those instincts) but...

Y'all REALLY underestimate the amount of risk MSCHF would be putting themselves in if they weren't handling this information safely. MSCHF are a major art collective and if this isn't strictly offline tax preparation software they'd be in such deep ♥♥♥♥ for advertising it

I kinda doubt that MSCHF has all the government mandated PII protection certifications required for handling sensitive customer data. I barely trust Intuit, and only grudgingly so.
