CSX SD40-2 Not Moving

Hi! I was playing the Sand Patch Grade map and selected the CSX SD40-2. I selected the very first timetable that is listed which is an Autorack train, and turned on all the breaker switches, set the brake cut-out correctly, set the selector lever to the correct amount of locomotives, turned on all the lights and switches, released all the brakes and applied some throttle. I heard it power up, but it didn't move. And then I applied some more throttle and then it started wheelslipping as if the train was too heavy? And I also tried just spawning the locomotive by itself and did the exact same procedure and it started moving perfectly. So, if I could get any info on why this is the case, I would be very happy. :D Thanks!

If you are trying the scenario that I think you are then this video I made shows how it can be done, it's a pain in the rear, and the SD40-2 even if you have two will not get it done, they just don't have the power to pull 50 Auto Racks what makes even harder is that you only have two pullers, even with Two Dash 8's or two Ac440o's its a though clime, and it only gets worse if there is snow. I Spent plenty of hours trying, I could not get up the mountain with snow using Two Dash 8's but in dry weather and or rain I was able to do it.

Yes that it is, while a challenge is good, but when they put this scenario together, they were not thinking of the weight of the train and how much power it would take to complete it. And SD40-2s just don't cut it.

Did you get the Dash 8s or Ac4400s and Happy RailRoading :)

The SD40-2 doesn't have a Selector. You're playing the SD40 then.
