TSW 3 is removed from steam store now.

i got extra money so i got TSW 4 today and decided to get TSW 3 just in case its poor in peformance but found out all previous TSW games were blocked from purchasing.
its like EA shutting down madden 22 server prior to madden 23 release

You don't need TSW3 so don't bother trying to buy it since you already have TSW4. Waste of money.

I haven't seen any difference in performance from TSW3, except for the new fog feature which might take some FPS. If that's a problem, you can turn it low in the settings, or completely turn if off.

No need for TSW3. TSW4 performs same or better than TSW3. Keep your money, wait for the next sale and choose a some nice DLC then.

You can find it elsewhere, like other old tsw (fanatical, etc.)

Based on some of these answers I guess I should uninstall TSW2 and TSW3 if I have TSW4 installed? Mostly to free up disk space.

Sure, you can do that. TSW2 and TSW3 routes are playable in TSW4 anyway. I think you only need the old installations for copying profile data.

having TSW2 and 3 installed when you have 4 is like having an older outdated abandoned piece of software installed when you have an installation of the current updated version.

They are redundant, so yes uninstall.

There's alot of reports of substitutions not working correctly in TSW4 on top of the addon manager / mod situation.....so it's not necessarily a bad thing to keep TSW3 installed for the older content.

I think there are even people who keep TSW2 installed for the TSW2 content for similar reasons

If you have TSW4 then TSW2 and TSW3 are just wasting your disk space. Get rid of them off your HDD or SSD.

99% of the mods that previously worked in TSW3 no longer work in TSW4 due to the addon manager.....thats a major point to alot of pc players

So what's more important mods that will get redone for TSW4 anyway in time ,or having a game that has more features and will be the only way of getting new content in the future?Pretty soon TSW3 will be abandon-ware but hey if you want to play with a few extra sounds and grass beside the track then go for it.

You guys all didn't noticed that the lighting with the newer trains is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on the older routes that are from TSW2, because they don't get an update? You should keep the TSW2 installation for the older routes if thats a problem for you.
I don't like that the train lights from TSW3 stuff are overexpose anything on the older routes.
