DISCOUNT ON DLC FOR TSW4 automatically will appear in TSW5

Hi everyone, my question is very easy.. discount-s avaiable now on DLC for TSW4 is avaiable in TSW5? i mean.. if i-ll take one of that, TSW4 DLC will appear automatically in TSW5? i hope i was clear.

If you have TSW4 and buy DLC for it, it will auto activate TSW5 version

I am quite pleased to find this, but it seems unfair that DTG are happily listing all TSW5 DLC at full price, when people might not realise loads of stuff is discounted in TSW4. I only realised because I had TSW4 Blackpool on my wishlist.

In DTG's forum Alex said that Steam will not allow new games to go on sale. So all the TSW5 DLC has to be shown at full price. There is no problem with TSW4 DLC going on sale - it is no longer new.

I found the exact quote from Alex:

"Hello - completely understand the ask here, but the real answer is simply we are restricted from discounting the new add-ons for TSW5 as we've been setting them up, and they are on a hidden "cooldown period" from being discounted.

The TSW4 versions of these add-ons will give you forward compatibility to TSW5, so definitely pick up the discounted versions if you've interested in the sales - Hope this helps!"

I have TSW4, I bought discounted routes today that are approx 50% off. They are TSW5 compatible.
In all I have 43 DLC that would transition over to TSW5 if I purchased it, but I won’t as I’m happy with 4.

Those not owning TSW4 and buying TSW5, the content is naturally full priced

You don't need to buy TSW5 because the Starter Pack is free for a few weeks, just install that and all your bought DLC will unlock the TSW5 version. There is no reason to stay on TSW4.
