Carry over to 5

Will the expert 101 and other dlc carry over to train sim 5, or should I wait ti purchase dlc if I’m going to get version 5?

Get the free TSW5 and all your previous dlc will carry over automatically.
Or buy one of the TSW5 packs,as you know there's a free version which you can get on release,only free till Oct 17th.
I pre ordered the deluxe tsw5 and all my dlc is already waiting once i can download it on release date.
The free one looks like its available 17th September.

You realize that all DLCs included in TSW5 Deluxe are old TSW4 content, not optimized or expanded?

I think old DLC's will not be carried over until 17th Sept. Deluxe Edition will be released 5 days earlier, so don't worry it will take 5 days for the old content to arrive.

This is what the FAQ says:

What will be available during Early Access?
During early access you will have access to the full game, including everything in your chosen bundle (Deluxe/Special). For the first time, Steam players will have the opportunity to download their Compatible Content during Early Access.

All 32 dlc are already switched over in TSW 5.
A few days after i'd pre ordered deluxe.
No need for rumour ,just deal in facts.
On steam it's all good and that includes Deluxe and special edition;early access includes all your content you already own.

So DeLuxe version you should pay your own content again? It seems quite ridiculous...
I just tried to pre-purchase the Special Edition (107 euros): since I already own all DLCs Steam reminded me this fact but retain the price until the check-out.
It is me that suffers for some strange mind disturbation or DTG?

They're offering your own contents, apparently doing so a some kind of special feature! I do not think I have heard a more ... hystrionic announcement in my entire life.

If I'm not mistaken, TSW3 content migrated over to TSW4 as it became available. I also noticed that if you purchase something for TSW4, you also purchase it for 2 and 3 as well, depending on which game the DLC your buying was released in. So chances are, for those that haven't purchased all the TSW4 DLC, including the backwards compatible ones, that the same thing will happen when you purchase the legacy DLC from TSW4 and it'll be added to both games.

Go to the Store page of TSW5 look at the DLC. Yours that carries over will be marked as already ‘owned’.
