Confused About The Free TSW5?

I watched the live feed of the announcement for TSW5.

However I need clarification about the Free Starter Pack. For example if I update it before the 17th October it's free, does this mean it's free forever or I've got 1 month to buy at least the Standard Pack before it gets deleted?

If you manage to add the free upgrade to your library within those 30 days, it's free to keep forever (among the first things they mentioned in the direct stream btw)
