Lirr commuter: how to disable alerter in m9?

I have time to play when kids are sleeping. Alerter is too loud, so, is there any way to disable it in new M9 train?

It does not make sense to disable this. It is essential for your driving experience, because trains can share the same block, so it is essential to rely on cab signalling.

I think it's not a great idea. For example, I can' view my train from beside, or walking on stations (searh collectibles) and even in this cases (i'm not in cabin) i can hear this noisy signal.

You have to put it on max brake if you want the alerter to shut down while you search for collectibles

When leaving the cab, you put the reverser in neutral, brake to max.

On locomotives, additionally turn off GenField and remove the reverser handle before leaving the cab.

It's bad that the LIRR stock in TSW4 cannot have alerters disabled, especially since there is a delay of about 2 seconds when pressing the alerter reset on raildriver. Unless there's a way to alleviate that delay?
