Class 456/9
Just bought the Southeastern High Speed route. Some of the included scenarios feature the class 465/9, which is not described in the otherwise excellent manual. It's pretty standard, but I can't figure out how to use the auto throttle. There's a knob that sets the speed bug on the speedometer, but it seems to have no effect when the throttle is engaged. No automatic throttle or brake adjustment happens. I couldn't find any other controls that seem to be related. Can someone tell me how it works, and/or where I can find a manual? Thanks. BTW it's a really well done route.

Good chance it doesn't function at all. DTG claim the Cabs are fully operational, but they purely mean that you can click buttons to roleplay their functionality.

I don't own this trash, so I could be wrong on this matter, but don't always assume that simply because a button clicks when pressed, that it works.

I figured it was a possibility it wasn't functional. It would still be nice to have that confirmed or not confirmed by someone else who has it.

the class 465 does work just fine, just insert the master key, turn it, set reverser, and put up the throttle. if you need more information, check the TSW3 manual as SEH was one of the base routes of TSW3 and is by such covered in its manual

Did you not at all read what the OP is asking for? Stop spitting false hope. They clearly aren't asking how to move the Locomotive... and you are speaking to them like they are clueless in life...

Turn on the regen brakes, set your target speed and notch 4 will activate the cruise.

Just what I was looking for. Thanks to you both.

How do you know it's trash if you don't own it?
