Annoying Thing that TSW4 added
So You know when you over shot a station you just go back and board all of Ur people Right? Well not in this case So TSW4 add that so when you over shot a station it cancel that station stop and goes to the next stop This is really annoying They did not had in TSW3 Idk why they added this is Really annoying So Everyone out there when Ur like A Mile Away from Ur station Slow down if Ur going around 60-100 Mph This only happened on the Metrolink Route I did not test out the other Routes Like NEC or Cal train

No, don't know. You are either going to fast or not braking fast enough or soon enough. Try to brake earlier or faster to stop in time. Reversing back into a station isn't something I think you would do in real life, so probably why it just skips to the next stop.

Yes, in TSW3 there is a problem. You cannot proceed to the next objective, but you need to go back. But if you pass a signal then, you are locked and you only can start from the last save, which is annoying as well. Therefore they changed it. It is a bit more like in real life I think. The advantage is that you can now just igore all stops if you don't like them. By the way, it is setting in the editor, so you still can crreate scenarios that behave different.

That is an improvement as that's how it works in real life. You are not allowed to move a single inch backward in reality. It is up to you to learn to stop at the exact point, which real drivers also have to learn.

Missed? Proceed to the next stop. That's how it is. Not doing so and reversing, probably over a signal, will give a real dispatcher grey hair and also the game's dispatcher.

Not sure how other countries handle this but if you happen to miss a stop or overshoot by a certain margin, reversing is NOT an option. You would require special permission from the dispatcher and someone who would help you shunt as you are not allowed to reverse by yourself.

well it was also a feature in TSC and its realistic if a train is overshooting it just keeps going to the next station. you dont start backing up like its a car

You need to practice your stopping if you are over-running a station. It happened once when I was a passenger on the London Overground, the train did not reverse but passengers exiting had to move back along the train and exit from the rear 3 carriages whilst the doors on the front 2 in the tunnel remained locked. So this is a realistic feature.

Only Problem in TSW is that all the doors open at the same time, so in the begining when this happend to me all the doors that wer not at the station opened aswell 😂But it's a realistic feature tho.
