Strange Startup Error : Exception Could not find file Logs ???

Could not find file in "c:/users/xxx/documents/horizon game/logs"

Yes, because there is no folder like that in my documents. Isn't the game supposed to create it? Verified all files, gave both launcher and horizon.exe admin rights but still no go... The game does not start with this exception.

Any idea what is wrong?

And as a side note, I created another account in my computer and this time game worked. I wonder what is messed up with my original account...

Nope, it happened again... It seems after the initial run, game can not access documents folder... Error reporting tool says access is denied for documents/horizon game/Tmp folder when run although it has administrative access and documents folder is set to full control for everyone. Windows 10 build 2004.

At last! Found the culprit! Controlled Folder Access has been blocking all my apps from accessing documents. Disabling it has solved the problem. Idiot MS! At least warn people for what your $$$$ apps doing on their computer.

Just saw your post, and glad to see you resolved it. I was not aware of this new optional feature in Windows 10, it's good to know, thanks for documenting it.
