Did you install XNA Framework 4?

:carson: Yup bought game on sale (cause it looks like some casual fun), started it, game won't start, verified game files, files verified 100%, tried to reboot Steam, game STILL won't start, uninstalled, then reinstalled game, game won't start, verified cache, & rebooted Steam, game STILL won't start...

THIS is exactly why I almost never purchase games unless they're VERY cheap on sale, can't you game dev houses actually beta test your products these days?!? BTW note to devs I have Windows 7 professional, & everything else such a game could possibly need to start... I'll try it on My other laptop that has Windows 8.1 later to see if THAT PC can start this game. :Dragon_Key:

Look at this, and see if you can give me a stack trace. https://steamcommunity.com/app/236090/discussions/0/540743128661919060/

Well thankfully the game DOES start/run on My Windows 8.1 machine (Which is odd cause MOST games won't run well, or at all on Win-8.1), BUT it's My cheap Wall-mart laptop, & gets kind'a cruddy framerate, the game is however playable in lowest rez, & seems pretty cool...

Thanks for the post but the game still won't launch for me. This is kind of unacceptable for a game that's been out since 2013...I've never had to troubleshoot a Steam game before...

Yup Still all the same here. Btw why is it acceptable that people need to have a work-around for a game to run. This is the developer's job. People didn't speak-out, even on the reviews.

Perhaps there were not enough cases of problems to affect the reviews. Just because you are having a problem doesn't mean that it's widespread.

Well it's not just me. I would just like to clarify that.

I didn't say that it was (that would be silly given the existence of this thread), just that it may not be widespread enough to impact reviews. Now look at the new Batman game, that had widespread issues.
