My brother said he's working on a movie rather than another game.
This game was a passion project by 1 man, he's not going to make another game, unless he truly wants to.

According to Wikipedia, Dean Dodrill has stated, "I will revisit the story of Dust sometime, it will be a while, because I want to do something unique, and different for a while. But I do have ideas for the next couple games. Like one we've done a lot of talking about and how we want to approach it."

He has also tweeted, "I'll definitely do a sequel at some point, but it won't be my next game."

It seems a sequel is promised, but not in the near future.

Maybe the sequel should be Fidget: Another Elysian Tale and you play as !

If a prequel is indeed made, they should develop Gaius' character. He is the game's greatest enigma, in my opinion. How did he rise to power? Why does he hate the Moonbloods?

Don't forget, Lady Terraeauidhseasgoadsasdasdosessa mentioned there were 5 swords of Elysia, so there are probably going to be more than just 1 sequel
