Can you manually transfer save game from Steam's version to GOG's?
Hello!
I'm planning to buy the GOG's version. Can the save file be transferred to there?

You should get all the saves from the Steam version even if you don't transfer anythng.

The save files are located here though:

Windows - %USERPROFILE%\Documents\SavedGames\DustAET\
MacOSX - ~/Library/Application Support/DustAET/

What do you mean :O? On the GOG version, the game will automatically have my Steam saves?

Actually, that's right. The game uses XNA's saving mechanisms, so as long as the game's named DustAET.exe, it'll find the saves. As for the Mac version, if you're using the FNA beta, you might have to migrate the saves back because it was patched to use the proper save locations, instead of its off-by-one save locations previously.

Okay, that's great. The Steam files of the game are on (D:) - The save files are automatically stored in C:/Library/Saved Games.
I never change the names of .exe or anything as well.
Thanks a lot!!
