Fidget is just annoying

So I played this game two years ago for about 8 hours and ended up quitting due to Fidget's voice being like listening to nails scrap across a chalkboard.

Just today I thought I'd start up some old games I never finished; enter Dust: An Elysian Tail. Can't even get through 15 minutes of gameplay without Fidget making me quit again.

Great game (even though the combat is basically just spam one button and dodge) and interesting story but Fidget ruins the experience overall.

lol, oh well. Fidget was always my little favorite and I thought her voice was fine. She is cute and funny so yeah. Not sure how her voice can annoy anyone this badly but I guess it happens.

Yeah, I considered Fidget to be a great char as well. Her voice acting is fine for me; as far as I'm concerned she can use that as a sample to apply for other voice acting jobs (if that's how it works. I have no idea about this stuff).

I love Fidget. Great design, wonderful writing, and good voice acting. Sorry that you don't enjoy her, that's a shame.

I think she's adorable, plus she isn't limited to a few lines like a certain fairy.
AND, she can get so powerful too, which makes some of the later battles so much easier to deal with.

This is more for older gamers but for some reason her voice always struck me as what Friday of Landstalker would/should've sounded like if said game had had voice acting.

I also dislike her so much, and quit the game for months mostly because of her. That's still the case, but I want to finish this game.

There is another thing that annoys me way more than her voice. I don't know if it's glitched or intented, but Fidget still continues to spam the combination of keys, and I'm at 34% of the game, not at the very beginning.
Every single time I'm on a platform, I get a "ding" sound and her speech bubble "Down or Up + A". Thanks Fidget, but I think I understood how to jump on a higher platform...
