Little help getting into this software
So i have a PMX model i wanna import and it works but it just T-poses. Using a VPD pose file only tilted the head a tiny bit. How do i configure my model to work with this software?

If you don't mind, could you upload the model to the steam Workshop and I'll download it to test it out.

Because the vmd format of mmd has requirements for naming bones. The bones of all mmd models are named in the same set. If the bones are not named properly, they cannot be used.

Thanks for the reply, i have renamed all the bones in PMX editor and its still not working.

Looking at other peoples models i need to use MMD4Mecanim to bring it over to unity but im not fully sure what im doing.

This may be a solution. By importing FBX/OBJ into a standard humanoid bone model in Unity, and then exporting PMX through MMD4Mecanim.

thats what i couldnt figure out was how to export pmx couldnt find how too on google

I made a mistake, MMD4Mecanim is only used to import pmx into Unity, and cannot export PMX files. Converting fbx/OBJ to pmx requires blender+blender_ Mmd_ Tools
