I downloaded this game today on Windows 7 64x Operating system and had 0 issues launching, designing, or opening saved files.

XP allows design on 3 mapping levels, making area design somewhat more unique - has a slant style character design, like pokemon games, where your characters seem taller and battle windows resemble pokemon as well.

ACE is more or less like a classic Final Fantasy game or other standard RPG with flat panel simple mapping design, but unique or complex character designs. To my knowledge - there are more pre-made upgrade packs for ACE than for XP.

Both make standard RPGs there is another version available - IG, which allows you to make shooters, and possibly puzzle / action type games, this version can be found through the official website - www.rpgmakerweb.com

been using it on my 64bit win7 laptop for about 2-3 years now, works fine, just gotta run it in compatibility mode.

i have it set on windows xp service pack 2

of course im using a non steam version so it might be different
This new version should work on 64 bit systems. The offline version should have a new DRM and publisher that improved RMXP's compatibility. The old one was distributed by Protexis, the new publisher is Degica.

It's already working with the 64 Bit Version. Yes it doesn't tell that on the Shop Page.

At this point the sofware is not suported on a 64 bit windows Sys.
This meen if you cant get it to work on a 64 bit sys, its to bad so sad you pay for it knowing it mite not work on a 64 bit sys.
In short its outdated and not suported for a PC that is up to date and runs a 64 bit sys.

Now the publisher at Degica have siad that it well be updated for the steam user and ones it say on steam that it suport 64 bit I well buy it.
Until then I have to hold on to my Cash becuse I have a copy of the 32 bit and it dos not work right on a 64 bit sys.

Do you even understand the difference between 32 Bit and 64 Bit?
