Can I use non pixel art in RPG maker XP

seeing as the only results i can find online are for RPG maker MV, does anyone know if i can use digitally drawn non pixel art for the game? I'm not good with Pixel art

To what extent? You'll need sprites of some kind. As long as they conform to the size standards, ypu should be fine.

like hand drawn but digitally, and i have sprite sheet to use, just don't know if it has to be pixel art

its the same process as uploading a pixel sprite. make your doodle to size using a sprite template, upload it as a resourc, apply it as a character. you can make a 1st person game if you want to spend the time on the tileset and movement triggers

Yes, absolutely. The images will still be so small they end up almost like pixel art in some cases, but I have taken cutouts from my comic and turned them into graphics for RMXP. Like the office building for my main character is ripped directly from my comic. With some more owrk I could have the background maps also be drawn in the same style as my comic, have a few maps done in non-pixel art style so far.
