Old Project - Open Source [Map Pack Only]

Hello, My name is Walker, this is a 3 - 4 year old project where i designed a school in RPG Maker XP. Other than that I'm a RPG Maker veteran and have used it for 9 years (breaks inbetween of course). I generally specialized in event designed systems, but today i have something different for you!

Now, this is was an intended thriller / horror game I was working on, and this is just the level design. The maps are connected up, but there might be mistakes with the map transfers, as i found some of them and fixed them. The mapping progress reached an approximatly 85% completion. Sadly, all that i did was the maps, and i moved over to 3D engines after this project.

Feel free to use the file provided, however, i would appruciate the credit for the level design. Sadly i don't think i have the credit list for the tilesets, etc. which really is a shame.

I'd love to see what you can create with this as well, so please share with me if you feel like it! :)

Need an idea? Heres some info about the school i designed to help you get an idea! :)

The dorm is originally designed to keep 100 students. There is approximatly 7 class rooms if i re-call correctly, and there is an auditorium as well. It was originally designed after a Folk High School i attended back in the day. A Folk High school is a school where the students have a lot of freedom, and there are practical classes related to what you study. I studied movie production, so we didn't spend much time in the classroom, and got equipment to produce short films, etc.

The auditorium is where we met each morning, each class had one week where they had a little skitt as well as the teachers gave information for the day. The cafeteria was open before the morning meeting, at lunch break, dinner and evening food.

Once a month a class would also arrange a feast where they made dinner, as well as a show. This was a rotation, just like the morning meetings arranged by students, except each class had a full week to do this.

The classes that the school i attended had the following subjects:
Art/photo, Photo, Tourism/social science, Jazz, Outdoor life, International Course and Film/movie.

Outdoor life is more about the nature and you'd be outside for a lot of the time. International course is for international students learning the Norwegian language.

Another cool addition is that students are allowed to apply to create a subject to tutor others in. We had international students tutoring us in their language. We also had people with a background in IT, etc. to tutor web design. You get the picture. People tutored in what they were good at.

In addition to this, every saturday we had scenarios about different subjects. Manipulation in media, movie music, martial arts, etc. We had to attend X amount of them.

I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys, as i hope you enjoy the maps i created back in the day! Also, if you enjoy this, i can throw out other projects i created back in the day if i find them, though they are probably more event system based and not map packs. This is the only project that was map oriented.

Well I have downloaded your good work and I must say you did a good job maping things out.
Its Something most user shold have a look at to lern how to keep things in order.
I lernt a fuw thing and well be redoing some of my own work :)
