Yes, it's a part of life that everyone can just do in real life rather than seek in a game. Before anyone calls me a prude, I had the same issue with Sims 4 making entire stuff packs out of stuff laundry and housecleaning.
Life simulators, when you get down to it, are video games and video games are supposed to be about escapism and gameplay, not a substitute for real life. Unless players are asking for something that makes sex funny (Saints Row 2, Leisure Suit Larry, GTA), leads to additional gameplay and storytelling, or plays out in a funny way (like how one of the lifetime wishes in The Sims 3 is to bang in five different places), I don't see the point of having it simulated.
