...but it will support 18+ content as mods (and I've read somewhere that it's designed for 18+ mods in mind).

It largely depends on which country you reside in and what their general stance is on nudity and alcohol.

It's targeting 16+ in the UK but you can probably expect it to be a higher rating in the USA.

But yes, the game contains alcohol and nudity. Sex is still censored though but the game is designed to support all manner of mods if you want to make it even more "adult".

My guess is, it's 18+ in the US and australia, 16+ in europe, and either 12+ or 6+ in Germany (Germany had all Sims games either as 0+ or 6+ games, and neither [non-romantic] nudity nor swearwords are a big thing here)

Singles: Flirt Up Your Life has the USK 16 rating and I suspect that LBY is also released from 16.

I doubt there's curse words, but even in vanilla LBY alcohol is alcohol and not "juice".
