Is the new title worth it?

I have Cricket 19 and Cricket 22,
After watching a few Youtube videos, it looks like the same game with the same bugs and poor commentary, with less features than cricket 22
I just wonder what big ant is focusing on.
Like surely Cricket 07 by EA should be what they're trying to recreate, but bring that game into the modern era.

Stick with 22. It's the same game just, this just has more bugs

EA Cricket 07 was an amazing game for its time and i couldnt agree more with someone trying to bring that concept into the modern era. Don Bradman Cricket 14in my opinion was revolutionary and well worth a look if you havent played it even though it is a bit dated now. SInce then its been a downward spiral for big ant in terms of their cricket games. I think they lost all the good devs after dbc 14 and now when they bring out a new title its basically just fixing the old tired games from before which they fail dismally at and add a few bells and whistles and a bit more eye candy. All they succeed at though is bringing us broken tired old rubbish.

I dread when they bring out a new release because in my heart of hearts i know its going to be rubbish but as a cricket loving tragic i buy it anyway in hope that it will be good.

I have bought all of their cricket games and the only ones where i felt i got value was DBC14 and 22. I think though that even 22 got a bad review from me due to the fall from grace since DBC14. Ashes cricket, Cricket 19 to Cricket 24 are all just refreshes of the same game. DBC for its time was awesome and Probably the most rounded game of them all. Different mechanic though so nothing like cricket 22

Bigant should have released DLC for C22 instead of release C24. In c22 everything good except fielding mechanism.

It's a Nice competitive Game of CRICKET Needs some more patches though to take it to a greater level of game play experience, after a few months of playing there were a few patches released has definitely made a bit of a difference to overall game play experience, Note that there is a commentary script error though, when ever the ball is played to point the commentator say no run even after a run is scored :)

Cricket24 is a more realistic batting experience.
However the game has many bugs, and the support team at Big Ant Studios doesn't care about helping you (I created a support ticket on 30 March 2024, and until today no help).
Very poor quality control and customer service with this game...

Yes agreed aspects of the game very good few more patches and reasonably small fixes needed even in some of the fielding replays, commentary scripts, and fielders collecting, returning the ball and throwing the ball to the stumps etc
