Where to get ash?
Trying to get started with leather and I need ash to cure the pelts, cannot figure out where to get it. Any help is appreciated!

Burn firewood in a fireplace, this will produce charcoal. You can process the charcoal into ash in the simple mortar and pestle. Joshua will give you the BP for the Mortar and Pestle if you do his first quest.
