How does Wakeboard mode work?
After playing for a little bit I am still extremely confused on how to actually get jumps in wakeboard mode. The tutorial is something about a white indicator, but I see none on screen. It seems almost completely random when I jump. 95% of the time I go for a jump I get less than a second of air time. How do you determine when there is a jump available?

Red areas on the map represent big jumps. Try faster and louder song.

What i hate about this most, is that its audio surf, now i can understand the surf board mode in the game for those who really care enough for it, but the whole water crap makes the game unbareable to play,

Trying to keep the muliplier up in your window with the bricks is impossible since its unpredicable if your going to get a high enough hight to compelte the stupid score to unlock everything and do i care to unlock everything i want a mode that i know i can play and enjoy,

Fine put the stupid wakeboard crap in but take out the requriements to complete the f'ing thing first please ?.

I understand the jumps correlate to the the colors on the minimap, but the map is very small, away from the track, and impossible to time. I was hoping that there was some on screen indicator that let you know when a jump was coming that I was missing.

Ground underfoot turns white when you can jump

I noticed the white on the ground, but it seems to only work occasionally. That and it doesn't help that the color pallete is white and blue.

I don't understand what is so difficult for all of you. Just listen to your song. When the music "drops" in volume or tempo there is a drop to jump off of 95% of the time. SImple as that. I have had no problems at all. Know your music and look for drops with your eyes.

Right now, the only problem is they have to make the jumps a little more obvious, cause even I having partial understanding of how wake jumping works, still confuses me when sometimes I don't jump even after I've hit a bump.

One other issue is, it requires a very specific song type to even get good jumps. So if you happen to enjoy songs like classical and acoustic that maintain roughly the same tempo and volume throughout, you don't ever get to make jumps. You just match colors and avoid greys, like some halfway Mono-Puzzle player, except it's far less rewarding than either really.

Yeah wake seems to require certain songs to get really good scores, which is only a shame because it's the first mode unlocked.
