Shaky and Glitchy design
Whenever I record my framerate dips down to 12 and I notice some odd "Glitches" as one might say. When I was recording i noticed that when you play wakeboard ou tend to sink into the floor, or with mono your ship shakes profusely. I'm sorry but in the next update I require a anti-aliasing function to decrease lag and not be able to see that little "Glitch" so if you could do that i'd be more than grateful Dylan

What are you recording with? And I've seen this recorded on age old pc's without lag XD, sucks that you're one of the people having issues~!

Fraps, the most resource demanding screen recorder on the internet.
Plus I need a better graphics card, geforces suck
It only happens when I record oddly enough

That's a hilarious opinion as geforce is the best in the world XD, You just have to get a good geforce

Yeah a GOOD Geforce, as in one of the most expensive, I could buy a Radeon for less and get more frames. So you sir are the one with a hilarious opinion. Plus you are'nt helping me with my problem so why are you even commenting?

I was hoping to get into a conversation about gfx cards, and I often comment. The only problem I have with Radeon is that every time I've used one or someone I've worked with has used one it's had compatability issues, driver issues, and at some points just diddn't work (I personally killed one pretty fast rendering on sony vegas).
Now to get to your problem, yes it seems some of the issues you are having are yours alone Audiosurf 2 seems to have some issues with fraps, at first you coulden't record in any decent quality though now that seems to have improved a bit. From how your problems were explained it seems to either be a problem with your gfx cards memory more so than it's workload.

maybe stop recording if you know if your PC can't handle it?

Then get better hardware, get a hardware capture card or stop making videos in youtube and stop complaining about performance here. Learn your PC's capabilities and limits.

If this only occurs while recording using FRAPS, have you considered alternatives?
I'm able to get a stable 50~ fps throughout using OBS without any graphical issues. Maybe give that a shot?
MAybe also record less fps on fraps...I never really have a problem when I even had my old gpu so yeah, you only need about 20-30 fps Oh and also make sure the frame lock isn't on that will make you lag. Forgot to say that. Sometimes if it updates ect it will defult things, and also the game is in beta so yeah it wont be exactly stable.

Me and my (lowly) radeon can record audiosurf 2 at 1080p 60fps using afterburner. This is with a multiple year old processor and a multiple year old videocard, neither of which were top notch at the time. Try a different recorderding software or upgrade your hardware.
