You have to enter your username and password in SteamApps\common\Audiosurf 2\extras.xml, like this:

<lastfm><username>your username goes here</username><password>hunter2</password></lastfm>

I haven't had an extras.sml file so I created one. Still scrobbling doesn't work.
This is a straight downgrade from Audiosurf 1 for me, I thought they had last.fm fixed by now.

I thought it downloads with the game, my mistake I guess. Here's the full file:

<extras><lastfm><username>~username here~</username><password>~password here~</password></lastfm><controls><autocentervehicle>false</autocentervehicle></controls></extras>

A little question, it add only the songs we play at Audiosurf 2 on lastfm or we can plays the songs that are on lastfm ?

@Kaito Usually, the songs you play in audiosurf that are on your computer will scrobble onto last.fm.

Hey guys. Does it still work? Cause I can't get any scrobbles after dealing with extras.xml
Maybe it has some other limitations like encoding? Or some characters in username/password are forbidden? Or Steam has to be installed only on C drive? O_o

After I figured out how to make a xml data and addet "<extras><lastfm><username>~username here~</username><password>~password here~</password></lastfm><controls><autocentervehicle>false</autocentervehicle></controls></extras>" to it and added my data it worked

I figured out how to create an xml file but it still won't scrobble. Does anybody know what could be going wrong?

had the same issue. tried everything to get it to work. made me rage quit. =(
