If you are having problems that you weren't having before, try deleting the "AudiosurfMusicLibrary.aml" file in your "Steam\steamapps\common\Audiosurf 2\Audiosurf2_Data\cache\db" directory. Sometimes the "AudiosurfMusicLibrary.aml" file may become corrupt and will need to be deleted again.
I've tried contacting him a few times. I guess he's an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and doesn't care. He's been ignoring this game and its customers for about 9 months now.
There are much more important things to fix before SoundCloud, namely these:
- Moving the ship into the side lanes using keyboard or gamepad controls will put the ship a little off-center, making extension lines (aka "chain span lines") in the side lanes unusable for keyboard and gamepad players.
- The only keyboard key combination that actually works in modes with special abilities is arrows for movement and 1/2 for abilities. If you try to use c/v for abilities (or any of the other combinations) it will reset your position to the middle lane. You can't stay in a side lane and hold down your ability key (push, scoop, etc.). The same thing happens if you use 1/2 for abilities but try to use something other than the arrow keys for movement.
- Extension lines don't work at all in Double Vision in any lane (and probably Triple Vision too) no matter what control method you're using.
- In puzzle modes, sometimes a Paint/Storm power-up can occupy the same space as a block (the power-up is clipped inside of the block). And it's not just a visual glitch, as they both can actually be picked up.
