Some .mp3 files not appearing in local search.
When I browsed my HD for .mp3 files I'd say most of them it finds, but some for whatever reason it just doesn't show to play. Is there a way to remedy this that doesn't involve having to load it via YouTube?

Just navigate to the folder they're in

Audiosurf 1 had an option to open an external file explorer window which remedied it rather easily, I don't see that option in 2, just the in-game explorer sidebar. The one folder has a considerably large number of mp3 files in it if that makes a difference. I tried a keyword search and it found a few results but not the one I was looking for.

AS2 does have the external windows explorer, but for some reason it doesn't appear until you pick something else and then go back. For example, click on "My Music", then hit the back button. The "Open Windows Explorer"option should be there now. You got to do this on every launch.

Also, last time I checked, the AS2 in-game menu shows only 1001 songs per directory.

ah cool, I'll have to check it out. thanks. and a 1001 limit is probably where I'm falling short because I'm sure my download directory far exceeds that. lol. either purely coincidence or it's the most recent tracks I've added that seem to be missing.
